WeLoveHawaiiKai.com's mission is to rediscover and restore the pride for this special community we call Hawaii Kai.  This website is a labor of love -- our love for Hawaii Kai.  Meet our team:

A.J. Halagao is a proud Hawaii Kai resident and the founder of WeLoveHawaiiKai.com.  An attorney by profession, A.J. now serves as a legal consultant and Manager of Westlaw Hawaii.  A.J. is a former criminal prosecutor.  He earned his law degree from UCLA and his MBA from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa.  AJ enjoys scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, golf and playing hoops.

Patricia Espiritu Halagao is the co-founder of WeLoveHawaiiKai.com.  Patricia is a professor of education at the University of Hawai`i at Manoa and is a former public school teacher.  She earned her masters and Ph.D. in education from the University of Washington.  Patricia enjoys tennis, snorkeling, swimming and kayaking. 

Kelly Tam Sing grew up in Hawaii Kai and attended Kamehameha Schools.  A graduate of the University of Hawai`i John A. Burns School of Medicine, Kelly now practices as an emergency physician for Kaiser Permanente.  Kelly enjoys surfing, swimming, paddling and mountain-biking.  He has competed in several canoe regattas, open-water swim races and triathlons.

Kris Chatterjee is a graduate of Kaiser High School, and spent his childhood in Hawaii Kai.  Kris graduated from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa with honors, and now works at the corporate offices of Jamba Juice Hawaii.  Kris enjoys surfing, paddling, running and cycling.  He has competed in several canoe regattas, marathons and triathlons.
